Kerax Equestrian Surface Treatments

For Equestrian Surfaces in Cooler Climates:
Keragel 6116

Keragel 6116 is a high quality wax based material that has been successfully used over many years. Made from the highest quality materials it is specially formulated to provide longevity and consistency to a synthetic equestrian surface – either outdoor or indoor. Typically Keragel 6116 has a congealing point of around 67°C (152°F) with a melting point of around 77°C (170°F); it is designed to be flexible at cold temperatures whilst giving cohesion and body to the surface at hotter temperatures. Keragel 6116 is typically, light brown to tan in colour and has a low odour.

For Equestrian Surfaces in Warmer Climates:
Keragel 6501

Keragel 6501 is a high quality wax based material that has been introduced to help cope with applications with a wider extreme of temprature range. It has been successfully used where the sufrace temperateure is over 40°C (100°F) and where the overnight or seasonal temperature can fall significantly below 0°C (32°F). Containing a unique additive to achieve higher temperatrue stability, this product is made from the highest quality materials and is specially formulated to provide longevity and consistency to a synthetic equestrian surface – either outdoor or indoor.

Typically Keragel 6501 has a congealing point of around 82°C (180°F) with a melting point of around 98°C (200°F); it is designed to be flexible at cold temperatures whilst giving cohesion and body to the surface at hotter temperatures. Keragel 6501 is typically, light brown to tan in colour and has a low odour.

Repair & Renewal

Keraspray 6650

Keraspray 6650 is a high quality polymer and oil based material that has been introduced to help repair and renew previously waxed surfaces. It is fluid at ambient temperatures and can be sprayed directly on to the surface to be treated. The aim being to extend the life of the surface and to give a better training or riding consistency. Keraspray 6650 can also be used to put flexiblity in to a surface in extreme low-temperature applications. Keragel 6650 is typically, light in colour and has a low odour.

Keragel 6300

Keragel 6300 is a high quality wax, polymer and oil based material that has been introduced to help repair and renew previously waxed surfaces. As it contains wax it does help to impart body to tired and exhausted surfaces, extending the life of the track or arena. It requires heat in order to pump and spray at ambient temperatures; Once hot it can be sprayed directly on to the surface to be treated. Keragel 6300 can also be used to put flexiblity in to a surface in extreme low-temperature applications. Keragel 6300 is typically, light tan in colour and has a low odour.

Keragel ECOSYN is a high quality synthetic product which does not contain any traditional wax ingredients; It has been developed and formulted with the following purpose in mind:

The REDUCTION in watering of the equestrian surfaces in those parts of the world where water availability or cost prohibit the widespread consumption of this precious commodity. Keragel ECOSYN is designed to very significantly reduce the amount of water consumption by treating the suface to provide a consistent going.

Keragel ECOSYN can also be used to put flexiblity in to a surface in extreme low-temperature applications. Keragel ECO is typically, light tan in colour and has a low odour.

Keragel ECOMAX

Keragel ECOMAX is a high quality synthetic product which does not contain any traditional wax products; It has been developed and formulted with the following purpose in mind:

The ability to make an all-weather synthetic training and racing surface that does not contain traditional waxes previously used in this application. It offers the surface builder and the surface operator the choice of an all-weather surface but with the very latest synthetic product technology to provide the highest levels of consistency, reliablity and going. Keragel ECOMAX has a congealing point in the range of 85°C (180°F) with a melting point of around 100°C (212°F);

Keragel ECOSYN can also be used to put flexiblity in to a surface in extreme low-temperature applications whilst offering high-temperature performance. Keragel ECOMAX is typically, light tan in colour and has a low odour.
